A Biblical Trump Turns To Retail – With 10 Plagues Threatening The House Of Fashion

President Trump stood in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church earlier this week, holding a Bible in his hand. What was he doing?

Fashionistas reacted when Ivanka Trump removed the Bible from her Max Mara bag and handed it to the President. Additional exposure for the fashion brand is generally welcome, but the more suitable optic occurred in 2018, when Nancy Pelosi exited the White House in her stunning red Max Mara coat.

Theoretically, in the Book of Genesis, the fashion industry was born as Adam and Eve took a bite of the forbidden fruit and suddenly realized that they were not wearing clothes. Adam and Eve were soon expelled from the Garden of Eden.

The parallel track to this story is from the Book of Trump, when the candidate bites the derogatory fruit, and then delivers negative comments about people from Mexico. The candidate already had clothes, but his fashion brand was also expelled from the Garden (Macy’s retail store located in Garden City, New York).

In the Book of Exodus, there were 10 plagues delivered to Pharaoh - punishment for his refusal of freedom.
